Most nonprofits – including charities, associations, foundations, educational institutions, and advocacy groups – have very limited budgets. Figuring out how to get the most bang for the least buck represents a daily task.
As digital communications takes on increasing importance, finding affordable tools to make your organization more effective can be a challenge.
This guide helps to identify some of the tools that will improve your online and mobile communications without breaking the budget. In fact, more than half of the products or services mentioned here are available for free. It’s hard to get much more budget friendly than that.
Of course, cheap doesn’t help if the product doesn’t do what it claims – or even more importantly: what you need it to do.
That’s why I have only included tools that I have personally worked with and can vouch for.
And with one exception that I clearly acknowledge, I don’t have anything to gain from these recommendations. There are no referral programs, kickbacks, sponsorship payments, or anything else. I’m pointing them out only because I know them, like them, and think that they might be just as useful to you as they have been for me and my clients over the years.
