May is ALS Awareness Month and as such, the ALS Association has launched an online and social media campaign to promote messaging. ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, degenerates brain and spinal cord cells, leading to muscle atrophy.  The ALS Association focuses on raising awareness about the illness to help families in need.

In May, the group’s efforts include new social media efforts aimed at driving traffic to the ALS Association website. The ALS Association has designed a specific landing page for awareness month that focuses on four ways supporters can help online. The page encourages visitors to share their stories, sign up for more information, become an advocate, and connect with ALS Association on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.  Learn more today:
